By accessing and using the solar-voyage website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
When you submit a reservation request through our website, you are making an offer to rent equipment from us. We reserve the right to accept or decline any reservation request based on equipment availability, delivery feasibility, and other operational considerations. A binding rental agreement is formed only when we send you confirmation of your reservation.
Rental periods are calculated in 24-hour increments starting from the agreed delivery time. Pricing is as displayed on our website at the time of booking. We reserve the right to modify prices for future bookings but will honor the quoted price for confirmed reservations.
A refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental value is required at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due before equipment delivery. The deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after equipment return, provided no damage or missing items are identified during inspection.
You agree to use the rented equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with provided instructions. The equipment must not be used in a negligent or abusive manner. You are responsible for ensuring that all users of the equipment follow proper usage guidelines.
You are responsible for the rented equipment during the rental period. Normal wear and tear from proper use is expected and acceptable. However, you will be charged for:
Repair or replacement costs will be assessed based on the actual cost to restore or replace the equipment. You will receive documentation and photographic evidence of any damage claims.
Equipment must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional daily rental charges unless an extension has been agreed upon in advance. Equipment should be returned reasonably clean and dry when possible, though we do not require professional cleaning.
We provide delivery and collection services within our service area. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays in delivery or collection, though we will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled times.
Someone over the age of 18 must be present to receive equipment delivery and sign for the items. The person receiving the equipment will inspect it and confirm that all items are present and in acceptable condition.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time will receive a full refund of any payments made. Cancellations within 48 hours of delivery are subject to a 25% administrative fee. No refunds are provided for cancellations after equipment has been delivered.
If we are unable to fulfill your reservation due to equipment unavailability or other circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments.
solar-voyage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of rented equipment or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a rental shall not exceed the total amount paid for that rental.
We are not responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the equipment, except where such injury or damage results directly from equipment defects that we knew about or should reasonably have discovered during inspection.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless solar-voyage, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the rented equipment or violation of these terms.
While we maintain our equipment to high standards and inspect items before each rental, camping equipment is subject to wear from outdoor use. We make no warranties regarding the aesthetic appearance of equipment, provided it remains functionally sound. Minor cosmetic issues such as fabric discoloration, small repaired tears, or scuff marks do not constitute defects.
This service is provided for recreational camping purposes. Equipment suitability for extreme conditions, specialized expeditions, or commercial use should be discussed with us before booking.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of solar-voyage or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.
